John McDonell John has been in the bicycle industry full-time since 1991.  After a 6 year career as a Washington D.C. bicycle messenger he began repairing bikes and managing shops in his home town of San Francisco. He has wrenched or managed at several local shops, was one of the founders of Mojo Bicycle Cafe, and is now doing his own thing with his partner Matt Ames.  While he still enjoys playing in traffic, John likes to ride his road bike around Marin and the peninsula, and occasionally gets muddy on his cyclocross machine. Matt Ames Matt began his mechanical career at the tender age of fifteen in 1997 at Breakaway Cycling in Delaware, Ohio, his hometown.  He has since worked on and around bikes in Ohio, Colorado and California and teamed up with John to found Market Street Cycles in November of 2011.  A true mountain biker at heart, Matt also likes to gracefully crash his road bike on occasion.  When not in the saddle Matt can be found on his motorcycle a long way from the nearest paved road. (Mug shot below.) Eric Kremin Eric is our hired-gun-outta-Milwaukee, a great mechanic, nice dude, and along with his teammates is the reigning and former World Hardcourt Bicycle Polo Champion. (That's a mouthful.)  Luckily he's a pretty modest cat or this might be a bit much. ;)  That's him on the right in the photo from their GQ shoot. (Really.)
